The BA Foundation believes in impacting the community by turning grim circumstances into a greater good.
Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumor (DSRCT) is an extremely rare soft-tissue sarcoma cancer that typically affects the abdomen and pelvic area. DSRCT was first discovered in 1989 and since then less than 500 cases have been diagnosed.
The BA Foundation's mission is to raise awareness surrounding DSRCT and funding research to give oncologist researchers a better understanding of the disease and perpetuate greater, more effective treatment protocols. We also believe the BA Foundation has been created to impact the community by illustrating what it looks like to be given a grim circumstance and in turn use it for the greater good.

We are continually working hard to be part of the solution for DSRCT and would love to grow our army even more with those who want to join this fight with us. Our hope for this foundation is to help find a cure for those families who are currently affected by DSRCT and those who may find themselves fighting alongside us in the future. In June 2019, Blake was diagnosed with a very rare form of Sarcoma cancer called Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumor (DSRCT). Since then the lives of our family and friends have been filled with change, research, questions, and more prayer than we could have ever imagined. Although Blake is no longer with us, the fight continues.

The BA Foundation funds go directly towards a lab in Houston, TX at MD Anderson Cancer Center to further fund clinical research and clinical trials.
